Abhi Singh is an award-winning filmmaker, creative technologist, and product leader based in San Francisco, with deep roots in the independent film and documentary communities.

Abhi’s short films and collaborations have been featured at top-tier international festivals and platforms. Bay Area Ballerina, which he produced, shot, and edited for KQED and PBS, was nominated for a 2016 Webby Award and praised for its lyrical cinematography and storytelling. 

He also contributed to White Earth, an Academy Award-nominated documentary, and was invited by director J. Christian Jensen to attend the 2015 Oscars in recognition of his role.

No Vacancy, won Best Documentary Short at the 16th Annual Asian Film Festival of Dallas and continued on a multi-country festival run. Abhi’s films have played at documentary film festivals including Sheffield Doc/Fest (UK), FIPA (France), Sehsüchte (Germany), and Big Sky Documentary Film Festival (US).

Beyond the festival circuit, Abhi has created branded, editorial, and performance-based content for nonprofits, corporate clients, and arts organizations—translating filmmaker instincts into clear storytelling, high production value, and audience impact.

He holds an MFA in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University and now applies his storytelling instincts, cinematic standards, and technical literacy to help shape the future of creative tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
